A simple linen top, elegant and easy to wear. Modest neckline, finished with bias tape in a contrasting colour. Simple snap closure at the back. Roomy through the bust and armholes (no tugging at the armpits!), slightly cropped to balance the proportion of the garment.
This linen possesses a luscious softness, good enough to sleep in - I know this because I made bed sheets from this very fabric :D
This linen has a structural drape and a softness that reveals itself with every wear and wash - I love how this fabric relaxes with wear. This fabric has not undergone any dye process, you can see the subtle variance of hues when you look closely at the fibres. It takes me back to the late summer flax fields of my childhood - the neatly winding swaths waiting to be harvested, the dust, nutty smell sweeping over and through me.
A blank canvas for your statement jewelry, or wear on its own for a minimal look. Try it casually tucked into the BLYTHE wide leg pants as demonstrated here, or go sleek with a slim trouser or jeans.
Small: 40" chest, 21" shoulder to hem
Medium: 46" chest, 22.5" shoulder to hem
Large: 50" chest, 24" shoulder to hem
100% Linen. Washed and ready to wear. Most of the shrinkage has been accounted for (product specs reflect the washed garment) but expect a bit more if you machine wash and dry. The colour of this natural fibre will fade over time, to preserve the colour and life of this garment, hand wash and hang to dry. For a crisp new look, press on medium heat or steam. Personally, I love to give the hang-dried clothes a good shake to remove some of the line-dry crunchiness, or have myself a dance party after dressing to loosen up the garment - and my body ;p
